Unsheet (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the platform at unsheet.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following types of data:

• Google profile information — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. Signing in does not give us access to your Google Drive or Google Sheets.
• Google Sheets (only if you import) — When you import from Google Sheets, Google asks you to allow read-only access to your spreadsheets. We use it only to read the sheet you choose, never to change it, and we keep the access token in your browser’s memory only.
• Spreadsheet data — Files you upload (.xlsx, CSV) or connect via Google Sheets, including all cell values, formulas, formatting, and chart definitions.
• Usage data — Server logs and error reports (for example, which request failed and when) that we use to keep the Service working.

3. How We Process Your Data

Uploaded spreadsheet data is sent to our AI service, which uses Google Gemini to parse, analyze, and transform your spreadsheets into web applications. This processing is essential to delivering the core functionality of Unsheet. Your data is transmitted securely and is used only for generating your application — it is not used to train AI models.

4. Data Storage

Your account information and application data are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, a managed NoSQL database hosted on Google Cloud Platform. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States.

5. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties, solely to operate the Service:

• Google Cloud Platform — Infrastructure, authentication (Firebase Auth), and database (Firestore).
• Google Gemini AI — Spreadsheet parsing and intelligent transformation of your data into web applications.
• Stripe — Payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Stripe receives your payment details directly; we never see or store your card number.
• Sentry — Error monitoring. When something breaks, technical details of the error (not your spreadsheet contents) are sent so we can fix it.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

6. Cookies

We use only essential browser storage: Firebase Auth keeps you signed in, and we remember small preferences such as your theme and that you have seen our cookie notice. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account yourself at any time under Settings → Danger Zone. When you do, we delete your personal data and uploaded spreadsheets within 30 days, except where we are required to retain data for legal or compliance purposes.

8. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to deletion — Request that we delete your personal data and uploaded files.
• Right to data portability — Receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. You can download any of your apps at any time as an Excel or CSV file with the Export button on the app’s page.
• Right to rectification — Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Right to opt out — Opt out of the sale of personal information (note: we do not sell your data).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service.
